Girl Scout Badge Day! Demo and Training |
| On 03/14/09 Mr Huff, Anthony Herrmann, Michael Herrmann, Emma Anderson and Kylie Anderson, demonstrated Karate and Kobudo for the Alpha Moraine Girl Scout Badge Day. Emma and Kylie did yakosoko drills while Mr Huff gave a bit of history. The Herrmann's and Mr. Huff demonstrated the combat use of many of traditional weapons. Afterwards they trained the Scouts in Kobudo Bo staff use. There were approximately 100 scouts that attended the workshop. All of which learned how to block and strike with smiles on their faces. |
| On 03/1/2011 Mr Huff, Michael Herrmann, and the Lustig family demonstrated Karate and Kobudo for the Alpha Moraine Girl Scout Badge Day. The Lustigs did kata and yakosoko drills while Mr Huff gave a bit of history. Michael Herrmann and Mr. Huff demonstrated the combat use of many of traditional weapons. Mr. Huff also demonstrated different simple self defense moves. There were approximately 40 scouts that attended the workshop and learned how to use their brains to protect themselves and stay out of trouble |
